Last year almost every student brought their lunch and snacks without wrapping. We all did a fantastic job and hopefully this continues. We’re aiming to make every day plastic free so we can limit the plastic going to Landfill and spreading around the world.
Many students have already done an amazing job at bringing nude food everyday so far this year.

So if you have pens or bread tags plastic lids or markers that are not needed or if they’re out of ink, bring them into school and put them in the containers at the front office.

Here’s just some of the great things we did…

Clean Up Australia Day, Tree Day, we made 102 wax wraps, reused paper for handmade paper cards for Mother’s Day, made more Boomerang Bags for IGA, planted lots of veggies, made 4 new Indonesian garden beds, Love Food Hate Waste Program, Nude Food Week and Nude Food Term 3&4, Plastic Free July, Red-cycled all our soft plastic, started up a 5 Bin System, worked towards a waste free Twilight Fair, collected Lids for Kids, Plastic Bread Ties, Ooshies, and joined Terracycle to recycle our pens and markers. And we received our 3rd Star from ResourceSmart Schools!

Thank you to everyone in our school community, our Parents Association, and the wider community
for supporting us to achieve our 3rd star. It was everyone’s great efforts that contributed to us being able to to reduce waste at school and in our homes and in the wider community.
A fantastic effort for a little school.
