The beautiful Herby, Eggy Muffins we entered into the recent Wannon Water competition saw us win 2nd prize and we were delighted to receive our garden goodies today. Thanks to Catherine from Wannon Water who happily delivered the prize and complimented us on our wonderful school garden.
The corn, bean, cucumber, pumpkin and snow pea seeds we planted in the paper pots we made during EnviroWeek, are growing well after all the sun and rain during the holidays. We will sell some of the plants at the Twilight Market and plant some in the garden.
Sustainability at St Josephs
At St Joseph’s we inspire our students and our community to care for God’s world by conserving natural resources, through positive daily actions. We aim to provide practical environmental education in all aspects of school life and stimulate environmental consciousness for a sustainable future.
