The mammoth Romanesco Broccoli was harvested by LGB, last Wednesday. Last Friday, everyone had a go at estimating how much it weighed. Gus had the closest estimation at 14kg, as he compared it to lifting his bike which he thinks weighs about 14kg. We had to weigh it on bathroom scales and it weighed in at a whopping 13kg.
Our Romanesco Broccoli was so big that there was enough broccoli for everyone to take approximately 400 grams home.
