On St Joseph the Worker Day last Wednesday, we Reused scrap paper from around the school to make beautiful new paper for a very special project that we can’t tell you about just yet! Senior students shredded the paper, set up the paper making stations and worked really well together to make their piece of paper and help the junior students to make their paper. We are so happy we have saved hundreds of sheets of paper from recycling and the students can’t wait to use the paper we made.
In Term 2 we are focussing on the 6 Rs of Sustainability - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Rot, Recycle.
