On Wednesday, our students enthusiastically scoured the schoolyard, orchard, church grounds and surrounding
streets for rubbish. This year we found the smallest amount of rubbish, since we started participating in Clean Up
Australia Day. This is a great reflection of the good habits of our students bringing plastic free food to school and
and the procedures we now have for eating recess food and lunch inside.
We collected 229 items, including 58 items that could be recycled and 64 items of soft plastic which can be sent to RedCycle.Thanks to all the students for great teamwork and Kate Novikov, Jo and Brendan for your assistance.
