We were busy planting our summer veggie seedlings and seeds on Wednesday. We planted sweet corn, beans, tomatoes, zucchini and pumpkin seedlings. Thanks to our great gardeners who dug and moved compost for the beds and planted the seedlings and watered them very well. Thanks to Great Escape Nursery in Casterton for the healthy seedlings.
With the help of Brendan we installed the Bee Hotel in the Indigenous garden. We also planted seeds of Bee attracting sunflowers, hyssop, calendula and marigolds. This will ensure all our veggies are pollinated.
Our seniors did an amazing job of weeding the Indigenous Garden. Thanks for showing initiative to make our school gardens look great. |
