ResourceSmart Schools is a Victorian Government initiative that will help us embed sustainability in everything we do.
We are committed to caring for our environment and by being part of this initiative our students, teachers, parents and the wider community will take action to minimise waste, save energy and water, promote biodiversity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We will also be able reduce costs while we are learning about sustainability in our school and our community.
We formally launched our ResourceSmart journey to the parents and community in September 2015. The first step on this journey is to celebrate and document what we are already doing and then develop a School Environmental Management Plan (SEMP) that documents what we need to do in 2016. We will use this page to tell you about what we are doing on our ResourceSmart journey.
