We are already making a difference with the Nude Food students are bringing to school.
There are so many ways to Step Up!
And thousands of small steps together, make a big difference!
Together we can all be part of the solution.

Next Tuesday, in our class groups, students will participate in School Clean Up Day. This year we are also asked to make a pledge to Step Up to change our waste habits. We’ll discuss how we and our families can make a difference to the amount of waste we create.

This week we planted a variety of herbs in coloured pots to sell at the Twilight Fair. Students planted garlic bulbs, walking onion bulbs, chocolate mint, oregano, chives, parsley and marigold seeds. Jack D and Xavier D did a great job making worm juice that they used to water the plants to help them grow well. Students will decorate their pots with coloured paint markers before the Fair. Awesome work!
Jensen and Phoebe harvested some of our delicious zucchinis and they are available to take home and enjoy. We’ll be donating your gold coin donation to our school’s Project Compassion fundraiser which starts next week. If you’ve got any great zucchinis recipes send them in.
Lots of families have made the change to Nude Food in lunch boxes so far this term. It’s a great way to save money, stop creating waste and caring for our common home. Keep up the great effort.
Thanks to Thomas, Eisha and Matthew for donating 4 of their “girls” to enjoy all our food scraps this year. The chooks arrived on Tuesday and the juniors had fun welcoming them to their new home.
