Our junior students have planted Broad Bean and Snow Pea seeds in the garden. We also made X-Ray pots, so that they can see how the seeds will germinate.
We used recycled apple containers, paper towel to cover the insides and the bottom of the container and some compost to fill the container.
The students planted seeds on the outside of the soil, so they will able to see what happens to the seeds as they grow. They will water them every day to make sure they have the moisture they need to grow. As we can see the seeds, we will be able to observe and record the life-cycle of a seed every week.
