Thanks to our fantastic students and parents who helped plant the indigenous plants in our new garden.
We planted over 50 plants including local, indigenous bush tucker plants such as Sea Celery, Sea Parsley, River Mint,
Muntries, Yam Daisy, Vanilla Lily, Warrigul Greens and Pigface. Sweet Appleberry and Running Postman were planted to climb up the eel trap fence. We also planted flax lillies, and Mat Rush in the Sand garden in front of the sports shed. Our school emblem, the Golden Wattle will add colour to the area behind the shed and provide wattles seeds for our cooking. More plants will be added in the weeks to come.
