We are so proud of all the work our students have been doing in reducing plastic single use waste in our local community. The students have invited parents to come along and help sew up some produce bags (small mesh drawstring bags to collecting fruit and vegetables in whilst shopping) using recycled curtains and mesh fabric.
The Parents’ Association in conjunction with the School Student Leadership Team will be setting up a sewing station on Thursday 16th August at 12:30pm in the school hall. Come along (and invite grandparents and friends too!) to help make these wonderful items.
Even if you can’t sew, we will need help cutting and pinning fabric. The students will love to show us how they work, and may even teach us some new skills!
