The 4th R - Repair

REPAIR is the fourth R.  Here are some practical tips for families to REPAIR their goods rather than buying new things or throwing them into landfill.

1. Fix bikes and wheels rather than throwing the bike away.
   
2. Learn how to repair clothes and sew buttons on rather than throwing clothes out. Anyone interested in learning how? Let us know. LGB want to organise an afternoon!
   
3. Repair,then keep fishing gear.  It will save you money too!
   
4. Repair torn clothes and turn them into boomerang bags.
   
5. Glue plastic toys back together.
   
6. Repair plastic bags to reuse them or make an art piece.
   
7. Check if your goods can be repaired before you throw them out into e-waste.
