We excitedly planted our summer veggies this week in the garden beds with our new drip watering system. Students loved seeing the drip system turn on and off automatically to keep our new veggies well watered. Here's what we planted this week: tomato, pumpkin, cucumber, corn, capsicum, cabbage and basil seedlings. Also sunflower, pumpkin, bean, corn and carrot seeds. If you’re planting your veggie garden at home it's a good time to get all these veggies in.

What steps are you teaching the students to maintain the garden, and how do you integrate lessons about sustainability and the environment into this activity? Telkom University Jakarta
