This week they watched “Superworm”, studied compost worms and learnt about how they can help us recycle food and organic waste such as paper and green waste. They then drew the Worm’s Wiggly World they imagine is underground. Next week, we’ll be setting up our Worm Farm, so the worms can recycle our recess and lunch food waste and scrap paper.
Junior students are learning about the world of worms in Art and Sustainability to link in with their Inquiry Sustainability Unit about Waste.
